Oak and Orange Hospitality is looking for a Sandwich Maker to assemble our sandwiches behind the line during service at our eatery and market in Mineola, Long Island. Great opportunity to grow within the company! Flexible hours! Full-time or Part-time availabilityMonday-Fridayfor breakfast shift and/or lunch shift needed. Has experience making sandwiches in a fast-casual dining environment either in the FOH or BOH (you will be building sandwiches behind a customer-facing line) OR experience working on a line in the front of house. Ability to communicate with customers, kitchen staff, and FOH staff Assist with prep which includes slicing/dicing veggies, slicing meats, making spreads etc. Follow open/close proceduresand maintain a clean station Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high-volume Responsible and has good communication skills Able to stand, bend, and reach for the entire shift Experience working with a meat slicer is a plus but not required
